RIND Launches at Erewhon with Award-Winning Aged Vegan Cheese

RIND’s French-style, cave-aged aged mini-wheels to be available at prestigious California grocer Erewhon




(Brooklyn, NY, May 24, 2024) - RIND by Dina & Joshua announces the launch of their French-style, aged vegan cheese at Erewhon. Two varieties of RIND 6.5-oz. mini-wheels, Classic Cambleu and Paprika, will be available at Erewhon’s 10 locations in California beginning in late May 2024.


RIND co-founder Dina DiCenso comments, “In 2019 we were approached by the California-based store that wanted to carry our cheese, but we were too small at the time to take them on as a vendor. Fast forward to 2024 and we’ve grown so much that the time has come! We’re excited to finally announce our launch at Erewhon.”

About the products

RIND's Classic Cambleu cheese is a pairing of bleu and camembert that features a bloomy, edible white camembert and intense bleu mold rind encasing a smooth, buttery body. Bleu (sometimes appearing green or black) veins may appear, creating piquancy in this sharp, rich and umami soft-ripened cheese.


Smoky and earthy, RIND's Paprika aged mini-wheel includes a layer of earthy-red paprika that is smoked and dried over oak fire, adding rich, smoky, sweet and cool intensity to a Cambleu cheese base.


Crafted from a cashew and tofu base, RIND's cave-aged vegan cheeses are gluten-free, cholesterol-free, and certified Kosher Pareve.
